Canadian Super Fan - Redman

There was no bigger fan at the Vancouver Olympic Games than the Real Redman. Dressed in a shiny red, full-body spandex suit, ski goggles and wearing the Canadian flag as a cape, Redman was always in the thick of things. Pumping up the crowds at Canada Hockey Place, running amuck on Granville street and providing colour for CBC news, Redman seemed to be everywhere during the 16-day Olympic extravaganza. Although he confessed that his fuel was “hops and barley,”  he also credits Ripcords for keeping him warm in his skin-tight outfit.

“Anytime I felt cold I just whipped off a quick set of Ripcords to warm up again,” said the man in Red. He also made use of Ripcords to offset his high-calorie, liquid diet. “Three sets of cords a day definitely kept my metabolism going so I could burn off the thousands of calories that come with a heavy diet of beer,” he said with a hearty chuckle.  With his index finger pointing high, flamboyant outfit and spontaneous workouts, the image of Redman will remain in our minds long after the games fade into memory as we celebrate the Winter Olympics. Here are photos of the now famous Redman using Ripcords.
